Play ButtonThere’s a palpable change in the air this month. A year after Lehman’s collapse, it feels like the market forces have finally pushed Play, taking us out of our prolonged Pause. The steady stream of acquisitions (Disney/MarvelAdobe/Omniture) as companies seek to broaden their businesses, the Dow and NASDAQ at highs not seen since last October, and lastly… I suppose, the Fed acknowledging what we all knew… or at least felt, that the recession is over. Challenges, disruptions and the steady hum of change aside, the media business, after a year of being stuck in stasis mode, is finally moving forward. It’s time to play!
